Cook/Server
Shawnee Academy and The Beacon School seek a cook to prepare and serve food. Must be able to work in a consistent manner ensuring a safe, high-quality product. Position involves interaction with students and staff. Requires a High School Diploma or GED. One-year experience required in food preparation/service in a high volume, educational, or hospitality setting. Must have the ability to read and write. Servesafe certification desirable. Drug and Alcohol Addictions Counselor (Consultant)
Shawnee Academy and The Beacon School seek a part-time counselor. This independent contracted counselor will provide assessment and counseling services to children in the residential treatment facility and alternative education programs that are experiencing chemical abuse, dependency, or related problems. Sixteen hours per week, Mon. - Fri., ability to flex schedule between 8am - 4pm. Insurance and previous contract experience, and a minimum of four years experience working with children, adolescents, and families, including group counseling, is required. Current CAC with a Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of ASAM and LOCI-28 criteria. Familiarity with DSM-IV and dual diagnosis patients is preferred. EOE, M/F/D/V. Clinician
Shawnee Academy seeks a full-time Masters-level Therapist to provide clinical case management for residential clients using individual, group and family therapy. MA in Psychology or Counseling, or MSW required. Licensed Clinicians with some supervisory experience are preferred. Clinical Supervisor
Shawnee Academy, a JCAHO-accredited Residential Treatment Facility, seeks a Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision / leadership to clinical staff, and directly participate in all clinical services. Must possess in-depth understanding of child development, family systems and the latest treatment approaches. A PA Licensed Master's or PhD in Psychology/SW with strong clinical supervisory skills required. Five years experience in an RTF and CASSP systems required. Shawnee Academy seeks Mental Health Technicians, Team Leaders and Supervisors to provide direct care, supervision and guidance to special needs children and adolescents in its residential treatment facility. All shifts needed. Direct care positions require a High School Diploma plus 2 years experience with children / adolescents, or a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience with children / adolescents. Team Leaders require a High School Diploma and more than 2 years experience.
